Having been presented with their Modern Office Skills certificates by the Principal of Tamworth and Lichfield College, Rupert Herd, the ladies (and gentlemen) of the MOS courses had a picnic in the sunshine before embarking on the gruelling ordeal of walking a whole mile to raise money for the McMillan Miles Challenge for cancer relief. A total of between four and five hundred pounds was raised, so congratulations to all concerned.
Special thanks must go to Kim Langdell, for a) organising the fundraising event and b) donning her shorts and running four miles (four miles - eek!), raising around £150 towards the total.
