Your Commitment Our Commitment

Many learndirect courses are subsidised by public monies via The Learning & Skills Council. Before enrolling on a learndirect course you must agree to the following commitments.

You must –

  • Be committed to undertake the course of study you have enrolled for and to study regularly
  • Sign and return the learning agreement form to the learning centre
  • Be prepared to contact centre staff regarding your progress and to respond to all tutor contact
  • On completion of the course, to forward your signed learning plan to the centre together with assessment evidence and the learner survey form

Our centres pride themselves on being friendly, comfortable places to learn in. We give learners the following commitments during their period of study with us.

We aim –

  • To provide learners with impartial advice enabling them to make an informed choice about course selection
  • To process enrolments within one working day of receipt
  • To allocate an online tutor within 3 working days of enrolment
  • To contact you regularly throughout your course to monitor and support your progress
  • To respond to learner contact within one working day
  • To award certificates within 28 days of assessment verification
  • To provide learners with impartial information and advice about progression routes or to refer to guidance services for more focussed support
